I am a native of the "Buckeye" State of Ohio and attended college at Ohio University (home of the Bobcats), where I received my Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting degree. After graduation I worked for a small consulting firm in Ohio until I moved to Eastern Colorado and began working for the Colorado Department of Corrections. I worked there for six years. It was there that I met and married my husband, Rick.

Apparently too many years of having vacation pay, sick pay, paid holidays, insurance and retirement took its toll on my husband. He began to think that being independent and self-employed was the answer for all "State" employees, so he purchased Cody Feed in December of 1995. I moved to Cody, Wyoming in February of 1996 and began work at the feed store. Of course, my knowledge of livestock was quite extensive at that time, having grown up "in town" in Ohio with a parakeet, hamster and dog. I'll have to admit that owning the feed store, a small cattle ranch of our own, and leasing farms in the Powell and Cody area has helped me understand and anticipate the needs of seasoned ranchers as well as those new to ranching.

If you are looking for that perfect piece of land to farm, my experience can assist you. In 1999, I had the opportunity to get my license and start selling real estate in the Cody, Wyoming area. I went back to school in 2003 for my Broker's license and opened Sunlight Real Estate, LLC in January 2006. I am very active in real estate and currently serve on the Park County Board of REALTORS® Multiple Listing Service Committee.

As a home owner and business owner, I believe that personal contributions to your community are very important aspects of keeping a community alive and prosperous. I am a member of the new Cody Economic Development Committee, "Forward Cody" and a member of Soroptimist International.

I was born and raised in Ohio – Cleveland, to be exact. I met and married my husband, Rob, and shortly after he graduated from college, (Go Buckeyes!!) we moved to southern California. We owned and operated a very successful mailing/shipping store there for six years. We first visited Wyoming in1991, and it only took that one trip to convince me that here in God's country is the place we needed to be.

After vacationing out here every year for the next 12 years, I finally convinced Rob that we needed to be here permanently. So we packed up our 5 dogs, 6 cats and 3 horses and settled comfortably in Powell.
